Noli Timere Messorem

Do Not Fear the Reaper

pratchett3Sir Terry Pratchett, Wizzard of Words and God of the Discworld

Terry Pratchett said his final farewell today. He was a brilliant and beloved satirist whose gentle mockery was a source of smiles and laughter for many. He was an entertainer of humans and god of the Discworld.

In the Discworld, Death is as ubiquitous as the tax man and I love to think he was there to usher Terry to the other side. I also like to think the noble steed Binky and the Death of Rats were there to lend a hand.

Sir Terry’s motto was

Noli Timere Messorem

Do Not Fear the Reaper.
